Please read each of our bios carefully and choose one agent to query.  We work together closely and will pass your work on if we feel it’s better suited to a colleague.

The Nancy Yost Literary Agency accepts queries by snail mail and email, however, note that Natanya Wheeler and Sarah E. Younger only accept e-queries, and Adrienne Rosado strongly prefers e-queries.

For electronic queries to Natanya Wheeler please paste the first three chapters into the body of your email, after your query letter.

Sample chapter attachments are acceptable for queries to Nancy Yost, Adrienne Rosado, and Sarah E. Younger.

For queries via the post office, please make sure to include a SASE (Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope) for our reply.  We will TRY respond to queries within eight weeks.

For fiction and narrative nonfiction, please send a query letter, which should include a brief overview of your project, previous publications, if any, and any relevant information about you.  We would also like to see at least the first chapter, as it’s the writing that really helps us connect with your manuscript.

For prescriptive nonfiction, please send a query letter, an overview, table of contents and all information regarding your platform.
